Asus ROG Strix-G Review

The Asus ROG Strix-G which a screen size is 15.6 inches with an anti-glare display. It usually comes in black color with 512GB Hard disk, 16 GB RAM and you very well that windows 10 already installed in it and its graphics coprocessor is NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, 1080p. It is a good option for game lovers because of its high-level quality.

REASONS TO BUY

A very affordable piece of tech

Performance-oriented laptop

Impeccable design

REASONS TO AVOID

The display isn’t as vibrant as expected

Features:

It has Ryzen 7 4800H processor with 8 Cores and 16 threads, RTX 3050 GPU with  95w TGP which is the highest in a 3050 GPU, 8GB RAM with 3200 MHz clock speed, and a 512 GB SSD. It has Wifi 6 and Bluetooth version 5.1. Overall features are really amazing. Its battery backup is 4.5-5 hours.

Display:

The display which screen size is 15.6 inches, is a 1080 anti-glare display and this is an IPS-level display. It has 250 nits brightness, 45% NTSC, and 144Hz refresh rate, So this is the basic display. You can use it outdoors without facing any problems. Talking about the color accuracy it has 62%-65% sRGB.

Design:

The Asus ROG Strix-G is made of plastics and its plastic quality is very strong and awesome. The weight of this laptop is 2.1kg and there is no webcam in it. Bezels are much thicker than the previous design and the edges are round, hinge quality is very strong and on the top side, it has a little bit of flex.

It provides you with a premium look and you can scroll your fingers without any resistance in the up and down direction. Its buttons are so amazing and are made of plastic. Buttons have no violence and your fingers never get hurt during gaming time.

Portability:

And now let’s talk about portability which is very important. On the left side, it has 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and 1 Headphone mic jack combo. On the right side, there is nothing. All the ports are present on the backside

Keyboard and Trackpad:

Now coming on to the keyboard, It doesn’t have a full-sized keyboard. There is no Numpad and this is 4 zone RGB Keyboard. The typing experience is good, At the top, there are dedicated hotkeys for volume, and mute. You can change the modes with the help of these keys.

The trackpad is pretty good its size is also good and it is fully clicked back the trackpad experience is also good for me.

Audio: It has dual speakers of 1.5w each and the quality is amazing because the audio is by Dolby Atmos, It has a few bases and the speakers are down-firing, So overall speaker’s experience was good. Some speakers have a very irritating voice and it could damage your ears.

Whenever I watch any video on this laptop I  feel never uncomfortable and depressed but its overall performance is nice.
